ARISTON PRO1 R 100 VTS is a 100-litre combined storage water heater equipped with an electric heating element and an integrated heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can therefore be produced either electrically or by using a boiler or another suitable heating-system heat source.

The VTS version is designed for vertical wall-mounted installation and has its heat-exchanger connections on the left-hand side. This is particularly important when selecting the correct version for an existing heating-system pipe arrangement.

Electric heating output is 1.8 kW with a 230 V power supply. At a temperature rise of ΔT = 45 °C, the manufacturer specifies a heat-up time of approximately 2 hours 46 minutes. Maximum operating temperature is 75 °C.

The integrated heat exchanger has a surface area of 0.15 m². It enables the cylinder to be connected to a boiler or central-heating system so that an external heat source can be used for domestic hot-water production.

ARISTON WaterPlus technology optimises the entry of cold water into the tank and reduces mixing with already heated water. According to the manufacturer, this can provide up to 16% more available hot water compared with an equivalent conventional design.

TitanShield technology helps protect the tank against corrosion by combining a durable enamel coating with a magnesium anode. Polyurethane insulation helps retain stored-water temperature and reduces heat losses to 1.62 kWh/24 h at 65 °C.

Water temperature can be adjusted using the external mechanical control. The design also incorporates a safety thermostat, magnesium anode and easily removable inspection flange for simpler periodic maintenance.

ARISTON PRO1 R 100 VTS is suitable for households requiring a 100-litre hot-water reserve and the possibility of combining electric heating with heat from the heating system, particularly where a left-hand heat-exchanger connection is required.
