ARISTON PRO1 R 100 VTD is a 100-litre combined storage water heater equipped with an electric heating element and an integrated heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can be produced electrically or by using a boiler, solar thermal system or another suitable external heat source.

The VTD version is designed for vertical wall-mounted installation and has the heat-exchanger pipe connections on the right-hand side. This is particularly important when selecting the correct model for an existing heating-system pipe layout.

Electric heating output is 1.8 kW with a 230 V power supply. At a temperature rise of ΔT = 45 °C, the heat-up time is approximately 2 hours 46 minutes. Maximum operating temperature is 75 °C.

The integrated heat exchanger has a surface area of 0.15 m². It allows the water heater to be integrated with a heating system so that an external heat source can be used for domestic hot-water production.

ARISTON WaterPlus technology optimises the entry of cold water into the tank and reduces mixing with already heated water. According to the manufacturer, WaterPlus can provide up to 16% more available hot water compared with an equivalent model without the technology.

TitanShield technology helps provide long-lasting tank protection against corrosion through a durable enamel coating and a large magnesium anode. Polyurethane insulation helps reduce energy losses and maintain stored-water temperature.

The manufacturer specifies heat losses of 1.62 kWh/24 h at 65 °C. Maximum operating pressure is 8 bar and the electrical protection rating is IPX3.

Water temperature can be conveniently adjusted using the external mechanical control. The design also incorporates a magnesium anode and an easily removable inspection flange for simpler periodic maintenance.

ARISTON PRO1 R 100 VTD is suitable for households requiring a 100-litre hot-water reserve and the possibility of combining electric water heating with heat from the heating system, particularly where a right-hand heat-exchanger connection is required.
