The Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-RZ25VU-SC / MUZ-RZ25VUHZ-SC is a high-efficiency air-to-air heat pump developed for reliable operation in demanding Nordic climates. It provides stable and efficient heating even during extremely cold weather, with guaranteed heating operation at outdoor temperatures down to –35 °C.
The improved Hyper Heating technology helps maintain strong heating performance at low outdoor temperatures. Maximum heating capacity reaches 4.8 kW at –15 °C, while the unit can still provide up to 3.2 kW at –25 °C. A seasonal efficiency rating of SCOP 5.3 and an A+++ heating energy class help reduce electricity consumption and heating costs.
The system uses environmentally responsible R290 refrigerant, which has an exceptionally low global warming potential. It is suitable for both winter heating and summer cooling, achieving SEER 11.7 and an A+++ cooling energy class.
The advanced Plasma Quad Plus air purification system helps neutralise up to 99% of airborne particles, including PM2.5 particles, allergens, mould spores, bacteria, viruses and dust. A deodorising filter helps reduce unwanted odours, while the Dual Barrier Coating protects key internal components from dust, grease and dirt.
The intelligent 3D I-SEE Sensor detects occupancy and temperature distribution within the room, automatically adjusting airflow for improved comfort and efficiency. Double airflow vanes allow air to be directed in two different directions for more even heating or cooling.
Using the MELCloud Home application, the user can remotely control the temperature, select operating modes and view detailed system information. Quiet mode reduces outdoor-unit noise and can also switch off the indoor-unit display lights and audible signals.
