MIDEA Solstice EZ 7.0/7.3 kW air conditioner heat pump, black, EZB-24RD6-I / MX4H-24RD6

MIDEA Solstice EZ is a wall-mounted inverter air conditioner and air-to-air heat pump designed for efficient room cooling and heating. The black version uses the EZB-24RD6-I indoor unit together with the MX4H-24RD6 outdoor unit. Nominal cooling capacity is 7.0 kW and nominal heating capacity is 7.3 kW.

Full DC Inverter technology allows the system to continuously adapt its output to the actual thermal load. Cooling capacity ranges from 2.2 to 8.8 kW, while heating capacity ranges from 1.6 to 9.4 kW. Nominal electrical input is 2120 W in cooling mode and 1970 W in heating mode.

Solstice EZ provides high seasonal energy efficiency. In cooling mode, SEER is 7.9 with energy class A++. For heating in an average climate, SCOP is 4.6 with class A++, while in a warmer climate SCOP reaches 5.1 and energy class A+++.

The unit features Midea AI ECOMASTER technology, which uses artificial-intelligence algorithms to optimise temperature control and energy consumption. Integrated Wi-Fi allows the system to be controlled and monitored remotely through the Midea SmartHome application.

The Solstice airflow system provides a 0° ceiling airflow for indirect cooling and up to a 180° cascading airflow for more even warm-air distribution during heating. Minimum indoor sound pressure is only 21.5 dB(A), while the intelligent sleep curve can automatically adjust the temperature during the night.

For improved air quality, Solstice includes Air Magic+ technology and multi-stage air filtration. The unit also includes a self-cleaning function with a high-temperature stage reaching up to 56 °C, helping to keep the indoor heat exchanger clean.

The outdoor unit uses Midea Prime Guard corrosion protection. Midea's Solstice documentation also specifies enhanced heat-exchanger protection against salt-spray and UV exposure, together with a design intended for stable operation over a wider voltage range.

The system uses R32 refrigerant with a factory charge of 1.08 kg for the 24k model. Refrigerant pipe sizes are 1/4" for the liquid line and 1/2" for the gas line. Maximum piping length is 50 m and maximum height difference is 25 m.

The outdoor operating range is −15 to +50 °C in cooling and −25 to +24 °C in heating, allowing Solstice EZ to be used not only for summer cooling but also as an efficient air-to-air heat pump during the heating season.
