Hisense WINGS PRO is a Full DC Inverter split air conditioner / air-to-air heat pump designed for both room cooling and heating. The complete system consists of the KB50XS1EG indoor unit and KB50XS1EW outdoor unit.
Nominal cooling capacity is 5.0 kW, while nominal heating capacity is 5.6 kW. Inverter control allows the cooling output to modulate from 1.0 to 6.0 kW and the heating output from 1.6 to 6.25 kW, allowing the compressor to adapt its operation to the actual room load.
The heat pump is designed for heating operation at outdoor temperatures down to -20 °C, while cooling operation is available from -15 to +50 °C. The outdoor unit is equipped with electric chassis/base-pan heating and automatic defrosting.
WINGS PRO features HI-NANO technology and a multi-stage air-filtration system. Hisense specifies a 4-in-1 filter combining a vitamin C filter, catechin filter, silver-ion filter and HEPA filter.
Integrated Wi-Fi allows the air conditioner to be controlled through the ConnectLife application. Voice control, Smart Mode and the I Feel function are also available. I Feel uses the temperature sensor built into the remote controller to adjust operation according to the temperature around the user.
Comfort features include 8 °C frost-protection heating, Turbo mode for rapid cooling, Sleep mode, a 24-hour timer, automatic restart after a power failure, self-cleaning, automatic diagnostics, an LED display and dual condensate drainage.
The indoor unit provides 7 fan speeds with airflow from 600 to 880 m³/h. Dehumidification capacity is 2 l/h. Hisense specifies quiet operation down to 19 dB(A), while the rated indoor sound-pressure range is 36–44 dB(A).
The system uses R32 refrigerant. Maximum refrigerant-pipe length is 20 m and maximum height difference between the indoor and outdoor units is 15 m. The liquid pipe diameter is 6.35 mm (1/4").
