Panasonic Aquarea PAW-BTANK50L-2 is a compact buffer tank designed for heat-pump heating and cooling systems. Panasonic’s official Aquarea product page specifies an actual water volume of 48 litres. The buffer tank helps increase the system water volume and stabilise heat-pump operation.

The inside of the tank is made of stainless steel. Panasonic specifies energy-efficiency class B, energy losses of 35 W, and an empty weight of 17 kg.

The tank measures 636 mm in height and 430 mm in diameter, making it suitable for installations where space is limited.

An automatic air vent and drain cock are included. A sensor pocket is built into the tank, while the actual sensor is not included. Panasonic also states that the buffer tank is produced by OSO.
