CORDIVARI VOLANO TERMICO PDC PENSILE 100 is a wall-mounted thermal buffer tank specially designed for heat-pump heating and cooling systems. CORDIVARI describes the range as hot/cold water inertia tanks providing two main functions: hydraulic separation and thermal buffering. Hydraulic separation allows the heat-pump flow and terminal-system flow to operate independently, while the buffer function helps reduce frequent heat-pump compressor starts.
Although the model designation is 100, the actual tank capacity specified by CORDIVARI is 95 litres. The standard model is manufactured from carbon steel and insulated with high-performance rigid polyurethane foam. The external covering is grey PVC.
The tank is designed for both heating and cooling operation. Its operating temperature range is -10 to +95 °C, with a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar.
