Advantages of pump filter

For the normal operation of the filter, water must be supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane at a certain pressure. When the pressure drops, water molecules do not pass through the surface of the membrane, and its performance decreases rapidly. An intensifier (pump) is used to compensate for insufficient pipeline pressure.

The pump has a microcontroller and 2 pressure sensors (before and after the membrane). If the pressure in front of the membrane is lower than required, the pump starts working. When the required pressure is reached, the pump is temporarily switched off.

During the purification process, the water passes through 5 stages, each of which has a separate cartridge in the filter.

First stage – Preliminary water purification from mechanical impurities. Passing through a cartridge made of porous polypropylene fiber, the water is cleaned of silt, sand and rust particles.

Second step – Water purification from organic and organochlorine substances, as well as chlorine. The taste, color and smell of water improves. Inside the cartridge is activated carbon in the form of granules.

Third step – Final purification of water from the smallest particles of mechanical impurities before the reverse osmosis membrane.

Fourth stage – The main filtering stage. After pretreatment, water penetrates the membrane, which reliably retains 99.8% of pollutants.

Fifth step – The carbon post-filter gives the purified water a light, slightly sweet aftertaste.
