The Zehnder ComfoSpot 50 is an external wall-mounted ventilation unit with heat and moisture recovery. The ComfoSpot ventilation unit uses an enthalpy counterflow plate heat exchanger, which ensures a low frost protection limit and helps prevent excessive indoor air dryness during the heating period (recovering up to 78% moisture), and is also capable of recovering more than 80% of thermal energy.
Despite the fact that the device is equipped with high-pressure centrifugal fans, at a supply air flow rate of 10 l/s, the noise level of the device is around 25 dBA.
The Zehnder ComfoSpot 50 device is suitable for both renovation projects and new buildings where the use of ventilation ducts is not recommended.
The equipment has been awarded the Passive House Institute certificate.
