Ecodan is Best in Test according to Sweden's largest villa magazine
The Ecodan system comes in different sizes and versions, all to ensure that you get a heating solution that suits your house as optimally as possible. Our outdoor unit PUZ-WZ – which is part of the indoor unit Ecodan E-generation – has received the Best in Test award from Villalivet magazine. This is what they write in their motivation:
"The Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan receives Villalivet's recommendation through its combination of price, efficiency, size and noise level – something that both homeowners themselves and their neighbors appreciate.
The heat pump has a high annual performance factor (SCOP) for both low- and high-temperature systems, which means that it is economical to own over time, regardless of whether you have an older house or a newly built one. The fact that it is compatible with both underfloor heating and radiators makes it extra flexible and a good choice for the homeowner who wants to update their heating system."
Cheaper investment than ground source heating – the same nice comfort
Geothermal heating or air-water? It is a highly topical issue nowadays because modern air-water heat pumps have become so efficient and can be used all over Sweden, even in the far north. An air-to-water heat pump often costs 30–50 percent less to install than ground source heating and still provides just as comfortable heat and hot water all year round.
- No drilling, no permit process from the municipality is required.
- Effective even at low outdoor temperatures.
- Suitable for most houses and spaces.
- Provides both heat and hot water all year round.
