Drazice NAD 500 v1 storage tanks (flange type) are manufactured with the possibility of placing from one to three flanges. A flange with a screw center distance of 210 mm can be used for installing a TPK flange heating element (1×12 kW). In the standard version, the flange is a plug. The storage tank is insulated with polyurethane foam up to 100 mm thick.
NAD series tanks serve only for heat storage in the heating system.
Everything depends on the temperature of the heating water stored in the tank. Thanks to the direct connection to the boiler, direct heating of domestic water to the required temperature in the inner tank is achieved. In turn, the connection to a solar collector or heat pump only allows for preheating domestic water, so it is necessary to connect another water heater, for example, an electric one, which will additionally heat the water to the required temperature, or to install an electric thermocouple TJ 6/4″ (1×9 kW) or a heating flange TPK (not available for this model) in the storage tank.
By including a storage tank in the heating system with a solid fuel boiler, the boiler can operate optimally at the appropriate temperature.
