Drazice Dry Soapstone Heating Element for a 2200W Water Heater
The dry heating element is manufactured using high-resistance wire, which is placed in grooves in special ceramic (steatite*) cylindrical elements. The ceramic elements are mounted in series. If the heating coil breaks, the ceramic blocks prevent it from touching non-current-carrying parts. The heating element is placed in a special flask of the water heater.
The coil of cylindrical heating elements is open, so when using the element, it is necessary to ensure that it is free of contaminants that could affect its operation (rust, oil, etc.). The dry soapstone heating element has a long service life.
