FERROLI BioPellet TOP 8 – Automated Wood Pellet Heating Boiler for Residential and Small Commercial Use
The FERROLI BioPellet TOP 8 is a high-efficiency, automatically operated steel heating boiler designed for combustion of wood pellets (biomass fuel). With a modulating heat output range of 2.6–9.1 kW, it is ideally suited for single-family homes and smaller premises requiring economical, safe, and environmentally responsible heating. At the heart of the system is a next-generation, modulating pellet burner equipped with automatic mechanical self-cleaning, ensuring stable and reliable operation with minimal user maintenance. The fan-controlled combustion chamber achieves an efficiency coefficient of up to 93%. The integrated steel water jacket (approx. 42 L) and large-capacity pellet hopper (100–110 kg) allow over 50 hours of autonomous operation between refills. The intelligent control system features an intuitive touchscreen panel that fully automates ignition, combustion management, heating circuit distribution, and domestic hot water preparation. Standard configuration supports two independent heating circuits (1 direct + 1 mixed), a heating buffer tank, and a domestic hot water circulation pump. The wireless CONNECT SMART interface enables full remote control via smartphone or tablet. The BioPellet TOP 8 meets the stringent ECODESIGN emission standards, qualifying it for use within energy-efficient heating systems and making it eligible for green energy incentive programmes in multiple EU countries.
