FERROLI BioPellet TOP 18 – Automated Wood Pellet Heating Boiler for Residential and Small Commercial Use

The FERROLI BioPellet TOP 18 is a high‑efficiency steel pellet boiler equipped with a 100 kg integrated pellet hopper and standard control of two heating circuits. It is designed for residential houses, semi‑detached homes, terraced houses and small commercial buildings that require reliable, automated and environmentally friendly heating. The boiler operates on wood pellets, meets ECODESIGN emission requirements and achieves energy class A+.

The output range of 4.9–18.3 kW allows precise adaptation to the building’s heat demand. Pellet consumption is 1.16 kg/h at minimum output and 4.23 kg/h at maximum output. The boiler efficiency is 93%. Combustion is managed by a modulating, mechanically self‑cleaning burner and a fan‑controlled air supply that ensures optimal combustion and stable performance.

The boiler includes a 45 L water jacket, an 8 L expansion vessel and a 100 kg pellet hopper. The touch‑screen controller manages ignition, power modulation, circulation pumps, buffer tank, DHW circulation and two heating circuits (1 direct + 1 mixing). The system is compatible with CONNECT SMART WiFi control and room thermostats.

The BioPellet TOP 18 must be installed in a technical room. Minimum chimney draft is 12 Pa, flue outlet Ø80 mm, air intake Ø60 mm. Maximum water temperature is 90 °C, operating pressure 0.5–2.0 bar. Dimensions are 1460 × 630 × 840 mm, weight 275 kg.
