The unique SafeGuard electro-mechanical system protects the device's outdoor unit from extreme weather conditions and voltage fluctuations. This protection consists of:

• 3-minute delay circuit to prevent failure due to too frequent restarts of the device after a power failure,
• outdoor unit valve cover that safely diverts water and condensate away from the unit,
• anti-corrosion paint and stainless lamellas,
• a metal fireproof housing that protects the electrical parts inside the outdoor unit.

Vector DC converter technology

Our step-down vector DC converter system is equipped with a chip that controls the speed of the compressor. The rotor with distributed electrical poles allows suppression of electromagnetic noise and improves energy efficiency when operating the device at low power.

Thanks to this technology, when the air conditioner is turned on, it starts cooling at full capacity, then slows down and operates at the lowest capacity that maintains the required room temperature. Models without an inverter work only in the usual "on" and "off" modes. Trying to maintain the right temperature by switching the device on and off uses a lot more electricity, and the temperature fluctuates more.

3 times more efficient self-cleaning system

During the operation of the air conditioner, dust and dirt accumulate in it, so less air passes through the cooling plates, which reduces the cooling or heating efficiency.

HITACHI FrostWash technology helps keep your air conditioner efficient. Dust and dirt are frozen, then thawed and washed away. The HITACHI self-cleaning system with FrostWash technology is 3 times more efficient than systems that do not use this technology*.

The anti-mold function of the shut-off unit dries out the internal parts of the unit to prevent mold growth and prevent unpleasant odors.

*Two identical devices were tested, with and without FrostWash technology. The test chamber simulated approximately 2 years of use in a typical home environment with dust and grease accumulation. Airflow was measured before and after the test chamber. The air flow of the unit without FrostWash technology decreased by 18%, and the unit with FrostWash technology - only 6%.
